Halal Testing
It is important for Muslim customers to be able to trust that their food is halal, we offers the DNA based methods for ensuring the source of your products. A wide variety of products are produced with amounts of animal proteins. At the same time, some processed meats contain unknown or even mixed meat types. Some products particularly high at risk for containing “haram” or forbidden ingredients include chicken, pepperoni, salami, sausage, bacon, spices, protein drinks, coffee (collagen), soft candies and gelatin and drug capsules. we optimized the DNA test for highly processed food like gelatin and published a scientific paper in food chemistry journal in 2015, and also we are the first lab in Iran which enable to test the origin of the drug capsules as a highly processed materials.
